
Noel’s first event as MIC’s Development Director, at MIRA Coalition’s 30th Annual Give Liberty a Hand Gala, along with our Executive Director, Frank DeVito, and Board members, Lenita Reason (Executive Director of the Brazilian Worker Center) and Patricia Sobalvarro (Executive Director of Agencia ALPHA).
MIC is thrilled to welcome Noel Martin Rubio as our new Development Director. Strengthening our fundraising and advancement program is central to MIC's long-term strategy, and Noel brings the expertise to help us get there.
Noel works at the intersection of nonprofit leadership, strategic communications, and systemic change advocacy. He founded Future Tense Strategies, a consultancy advising nonprofits on institutional fundraising and narrative strategy, and has held development and communications leadership roles at organizations including Mass Mentoring Partnership, Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, and Veterans Legal Services, among others.
A Certified Fund-Raising Executive, Noel holds a graduate certificate in Data, Economics, and Design of Policy from MIT and a degree in public policy from the University of Chicago. His thought leadership has appeared in Blue Avocado and The Chronicle of Philanthropy. We're excited to have him on the team!
