IFSI Reflects on Haiti’s World Cup Qualification

Kudos to MIC partner IFSI for supporting World Cup activities that are bringing the Haitian community together in pride. For the first time in over 50 years, Haiti's national team has qualified for the World Cup, a milestone that speaks to the strength and perseverance of the Haitian community.

On Saturday in Massachusetts, home to the third largest Haitian diaspora in the country, community members of all ages turned out for Haiti's first match since 1972, and the energy was palpable. On IFSI's blog, Angie Gabeau reflects on how this achievement unifies Haitians across the globe and connects to Haiti's rich history. This is more than a game — it's a celebration of resilience and community spirit.
